Came to Garden City Jeep after doing some leg worth on Edmund.com. Garden City had the car I was interersted in, no bait & switch. Andre Smith was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the two models I was interested in. He went above board to answer all our questions, made us feel very comfortable. Tommy in finance was awesome too. Thought we would find a car and pick it up in a few days. Instead, we left with our new jeep that afternoon. Professional, efficient,personable, knowledgeable and an all around great experience. I was looking to trade in my Dodge. My son and I were coming off an unpleasant experience at another car maker brand where we had looked at a used car and felt we had not been treated fairly. Luckily I then went to Garden City Jeep. I worked with a saleman named Jay Capodiferro. As an older woman I have little comfort level and even less knowledge about cars. This makes buying a car a stressful experience for me. Jay, who looks younger than his years but knows quite a lot, had us test drive several Jeeps , and told us in detail the advantages and differences between the models. For me the big issue was that he was VERY pleasant, patient with my questions, and never hard sell ( which totally puts me off as a customer). He was willing to work with our price range, and really wanted to sell me a car that we would be happy with. He put me totally at ease with the process. In the end we purchased a used 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara in super condition with low miles. When we decided to purchase the optional gas cap door for the car, Jay arranged for its installation with Tom Herber in the service dept there after only a short wait, so everything would be in place when we drove away. (Thanks Tom!) Jay really went well out of his way to help us even with this small detail. Its so nice to work with a salesman who exhibits care and ethics about what he does. This is a great dealership and I would certainly return there again to make another purchase. And I highly recommend our salesman Jay Capodiferro.

On Jan 7,2015 I called the service dept. for an appointment for a NY state inspection and a GPS problem. The earliest day they had open was Jan 19,2015. at 8:30 am. I said fine I will bring it in. I did buy this Jeep new from this dealership on Jan 8,2014. I arrived early about 8:20 am. on Jan 19,2015. I spoke to a service advisor and he noted what I wanted to have done. I went and sat in the waiting area. I read the work order copy he gave me. It had a promise back time of 1700 hrs which means 5:00 pm. I went back to the service advisor and asked him about the promise time He said "oh that just means we close at that time" I said ok and sat back in the waiting area. It is now 11:00 am. Nobody has updated me as to what is going on with my Jeep. I go outside for some fresh air. I look down the street and notice a Jeep just like mine that is parked with the dealer tag hanging from the rearview mirror, I check it out and it is my Jeep. The old inspection sticker is still on it. I walk back inside and ask the service advisor why has my Jeep not been touched in 2 and a half hours. He says they are working on it now. I say why is it sitting on the lot near the corner. He runs outside and comes back in. He apologizes and says he did not mark my work order as a waiting customer .I say give me my keys I waited long enough for nothing, and you won't see me anytime soon and leave.

I went to another dealer to check out Durangos but they would not take very much off the MSRP and gave me a very low price for my trade-in. When I went to Garden City Jeep-Dodge I was met by Mike Puglisi who spent plenty of time with my wife and I and we worked out a good price. We went back several days later and after sitting with Tom Grady we were able to get a great finance rate and the deal was done. Everyone at the dealership seemed to be working hard to make a sale. I would definitely recommend this dealer and especially Mike Puglisi.
